    Aboriginal students pursuing a post-secondary education (PSE) in Ontario face many challenges that hinder their success, including financial, historical, educational, personal, institutional, and geographical barriers. The goal of this issue paper is to provide background information on key issues, and inform the development of comprehensive policy recommendations for Aboriginal post-secondary education (PSE) success. This paper discusses the different paths Aboriginal students take to attain a higher education, and reviews obstacles, challenges and successes at each stage on their educational journey. 19 recommendations are made.
