BRINGING STUDENTS TOGETHER
The College Student Alliance holds three annual conferences.
Each conference brings together student leaders from various Ontario college student associations.
CONFERENCES
February Conference (FebCon) focuses on governance training for student leaders for the upcoming academic school year, as well as wrapping up projects & transitioning to a new Board.
May Conference (MayCon) focuses on training for the school year. Additionally, student leaders are awarded for advocacy activities during the Awards Gala.
Advocacy Summit focuses on training and engaging students on advocacy. Students have the opportunity to meet and work with MPPs from Queen's Park.
The theme of advocacy runs through each conference CSA hosts.
Conference delegates learn about current post-secondary education issues in Ontario and matters that directly affect students on college campuses. Conferences provide advocacy development sessions and provide opportunities for student leaders to network with like-minded individuals who work to improve the Ontario college experience.
